Lin Cognito is Austin's favorite pun-cracking, match-making, time-traveling detective...some might say she's in a league of her own. She's back in town and excited to solve the case of "Who Killed the Referee?" After all, these murder mystery parties have been a hit!
(We weren't kidding about the puns!)
Work as a team or as a solo player to search for clues, solve puzzles, and take big swings as you solve this mystery. This event is open to all!

Welcome to 1972 Pub—Austin’s first bar dedicated to women’s and gender-expansive sports. Named for the year Title IX was signed into law, we honor the landmark legislation that prohibited sex-based discrimination and sparked a nationwide rise in women’s athletics.
Our mission is to create a space where athletes and fans can unite and feel empowered. Despite the growing interest in women’s sports, Austin lacks venues that prioritize them, leaving these athletes with limited recognition and support. Inspired by pioneering bars like The Sports Bra in Portland, we aim to elevate women’s and gender-expansive athletes by providing a space where their achievements are celebrated.
We recommend using a rideshare or use the San Antonio Garage for $3/hr. Limited free parking is available behind 1972 Pub.
